These statistics detail the numbers of new road vehicles registered for the first time each month. The data are updated once a month. The information is produced by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.

DESCRIPTIONThe statistics on road vehicles registered for the first time are based on Traficom’s Transport Register, which contains data on all road vehicles subject to registration obligation in continental Finland. First-time registrations are retrieved from the register on a monthly basis. Vehicles in the Finnish Defence Forces’ own register are not included in the statistics on road vehicles registered for the first time.
