Statistics on the power sources of road vehicles registered for the first time

May 17, 2022 at 13:14, updated April 21, 2026 at 12:54

These statistics detail the first-time registrations of new road vehicles each month by power source. The data are updated once a month. The information is produced by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.

In the statistics, “vehicles powered by alternative driving powers or fuel” refer to vehicles that are fully or partly (plug-in hybrids) powered by electricity, hydrogen or gas (LNG, CNG, CBG) and flex-fuel vehicles. Self-charging hybrids are not considered to be vehicles powered by alternative driving powers in these statistics.
