Statistics on registered aircraft

These statistics include the numbers of registered aircraft per year by aircraft category. The statistics are updated once a year. The information is produced by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.

The statistic on registered aircraft is based on the Transport Register of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom), which contains data on civil aircraft and aircraft mortgages. The register also contains information on aircraft owners, users, holders and representatives. The register does not contain the Defence Force's aircraft or drones (RPAS) with operating weight of less than 150 kg. The statistic is published annually.

Airliners are aircraft used for commercial air transport. Lighter than air aircraft include hot air balloons.
