Purchase and conversion subsidies can be granted for the purchase of an alternative fuel vehicle or the conversion of a vehicle to run on alternative fuel. Purchase subsidies can be applied for the purchase of electric passenger cars and electric and gas-powered vans or lorries. A conversion subsidy can be applied for the conversion of a passenger car to run on ethanol or gas.
NB: The application period for purchase subsidies for electric passenger cars and passenger car conversion subsidies has ended 31 December 2022.
