Fixed telephone subscriptions
The statistics on fixed telephone subscriptions include both traditional fixed telephone subscriptions (PSTN) and telecommunications operators’ telephone subscriptions using fixed broadband connections (VoIP subscriptions). Traficom collects the data from telecommunications operators once a year. The statistics are produced by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.
Changes made to the statistics
Starting with the 2025 statistics, data on fixed-network telephone subscriptions will be compiled only once a year.
Traficom no longer publishes statistics on telecommunications operators’ shares of the fixed telephone subscription market because of low subscription volumes.
