The statistics on currently valid driving licences include the numbers of driving licences by category of driving licence, region and the age and sex of the card holder. The data are updated every six months. The information is produced by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.

DESCRIPTION

The statistics on currently valid driving licences are based on Traficom’s Transport Register, which contains data on drivers’ rights to drive and licences. Information on valid licences is retrieved from the register every six months.

Data for the previous period is published no later than 30 days after the end of the period in question.
