What does the transport system analysis include?
The transport system is a system comprised of all forms of passenger and goods transport, the transport networks serving them, communications connections and information, transport services, vehicles and traffic control systems. The aim of transport system analysis is to compile a strategic overview of the current state of the transport system, its development needs and the development of the operating environment. As such, the analysis does not include real-time or in-depth data on the different elements of the transport system. The information is divided into a section on the progress towards the objectives of the National Transport System Plan and situational pictures of different modes of transport.
